Rainy Day Savings

We love rainy days here at AM/PM Insurance Agency, Inc. Rainy days are a great opportunity to save some money at home:

Weather Forecast

Collecting water in a clean container may even be safe to drink*! It must be water collected directly fallen from the sky into a clean container.

Free water for your lawn and garden.

Free Carwash! A nice rinse to get rid of the dust off your car is always nice.

Passive methods of rainwater collecting.  Putting a few containers out to collect free water to water your indoor plants. Or installing infiltration basins to prevent flooding and recharge your soil if you have a big property.

Active rainwater harvesting for future use during drier conditions. Installing a few barrels around your home or building to catch run-off water so you can control when you use that water to save some money on your water bill.

Both passive and active rainwater harvesting reduces your carbon footprint, reduces the overdrawn and stressed reservoir systems, and recharges the soil's pH balance on your property. Having an active rainwater harvesting system is also great in case of emergencies, like that big earthquake we hear about every year. This week we have a few opportunities to save some water and some money. We hope you get to take advantage of this rainy weather! Call our office to take advantage of free quotes if you're a renter or if you own a home
